SFGAm Commercial, dumb or not?

Ok, right now I'm watching a new SFGAM commercial. I'm talking about the commercial with the music that belongs at the climax of a bad horror movie.
They showed a green, yes, green train racing a red (I think) train on the "American Eagle" and it was at a hill that does not exist on it! Also, this isn't too bad, but the are showing S:UE, and isn't this great looking, a computer animation of Deja Vu. The SUE isn't too bad, but commercials should not have computer animation unless it's all computer animation.
The best part is by far, where Bugs Bunny is shown with a little kid, and the music playing like Bugs is about to kill this happy little kid.
Have any of you seen this? Do you think it is a very stupid commercial too? I'm just wondering, because this is the second commercial for SFGAm I've seen for this season. The first one I thought was bad, but not as bad as this! Well, at least I got to see RB, and BTE... from another park!

All the commercials I see for parks always seem to show coasters from their chain that are not even at the park advertising! SFAmerica stole images of Stealth from Paramount and changed the colors!

I have yet to see this commercial...I usually see them during the summer when they are displayed though.

Cedar point commercials show cedar point rides, not anather parks.

Yeah, that's because Cedar Point belongs to a small organization called Cedar Fair, and it is way smaller then SF. SF has allway exchanged rides for their comercial. I don't know why, that's just their way of advertising.

It has nothing to do with the size of the organization, it's just cheaper to use video you already have than shoot new video.

I suspect the more likely situation is that CP's spots are for rides that don't exist elsewhere. It's not like there is another Millennium Force or Power Tower out there.

And it's particularly stupid. Six Flags used footage of VIPER at SFMM for the S:ROS at SFDL commercial. That's a HUGE difference. Hmmm...Arrow mega-looper with OTSR and a curving first drop, vs. Intamin hyper with open lapbar seats, and a straight first drop. Great job, SF. I wish they would bite the bullet and spend the $2000 to film S:ROS for their commercial. It honestly can't cost much more than that, and to a company like SF, what's the difference? Laziness..that's all it is.

It doesn't really matter much how much it costs. People will still remember the park regardless of how correct they are with the coasters they put on it.

I know last year SFO(now SFWOA) used footage of Superman at SFMM for SUE. No what near the same ride.

I really like the commercial. I don't know why but i liked the way that the music makes you seem scared of riding. The commercials are not intended for enthusiast. They would mostly think they are lame. But they are for the people that don't regularly go. We already go a lot and they don't need to advertise to us with facts and stuff. I also thought that the footage of SUE, soon to be V2 were really good. I think they made the park look very cool.

Here's the missed point.

No one I know has even heard of Superman: Ultimate Escape. No one I know has ever heard of another Six Flags park, and they all refer to any other chain park I talk about (save for the Orlando properties) as another 'Great America.'

When people see a black, under-the-tracks coaster on TV, it's Batman. Standup and it's Iron Wolf. They see a Viper (SFMM) and think they repainted Shockwave red.

Six Flags doesn't really care if we scrutenize them for reusing footage. If they can draw people to the park, everything's well in the world.

It's coming...

Actually I give Six Flags credit on this recent SFGAm commercial. Most of the footage was shot at SFGAm. The only thing that really stood out for a different coaster was for the American Eagle. That was definitely a different woodie. Overall a pretty good commercial.
