Looking at an aerial shot of HP I'm not seeing much space left to put anything huge, but then I don't know if they own land on the other side of some of those roads.
Turblence, Gonch? Do you know something that we don't? I hope they would change their mind with the rides location.
I am with you all about HP being very well rounded. They don't NEED anything. Anything new now is just icing. They could get a hyper and a drop ride and a few water rides, and I would be just as happy as I am with them right now.
Hersheypark is near perfect.
However I did have a thought that the empty lot in front of the laser screen in Midway America would make a nice location for a drop tower.

Nah, wish I did.
I just thought Turbulence looked like a cool little ride.
That would make sense, since supposedly Frog Hopper is being relocated, and that's right on the opposite side of the Midway near the Ferris Wheel. I know I've seen a picture of this area on one of the coaster sites, I just can't remember which.
As far as a new coaster goes, I wonder if the design contest they're holding has anything to do with that. Wasn't that billed as designing a ride that would actually become a coaster in the park?
So beyond that my wishlist would include a drop tower of some type and a junior hyper ala Steel Eel (although that LaRonde animation looks pretty sweet).
Intamin Gyrodrop
Flying Scooters (I don't think they have one?)
Schwarz-style Shuttle Loop
Schwarz-style Speedracer
Intamin hyper
Indoor coaster
junior woodie
As is, Hersehy is probably my favorite park, so I have to agree, anything new from here on out is just extra joy for us all. :)

They have a Swartz speed racer.
They have a Intamin Launcher that has a drop like or better than a hyper.
They have a JR woodie called Comet. I call it JR because it is braked to death.
Chuck, who thinks maybe a Vekoma Motor Bike coaster would fit great in the park. *** Edited 2/11/2006 2:19:58 PM UTC by Charles Nungester***
