Did Walt and lilly Disney really pass away 31 years apart to the exact day (according to the rollback)?

I checked Wikipedia, and it says that Walt actually died on December 15, 1966, while his wife's death is listed correctly on the Rollback.

I believe Walt Disney did indeed die on the 15th of Lung cancer.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

The cause of death listed on his death certificate states "cardiac arrest" and was pronounced legaly dead at 9:30am on December 15th, 1966.

The reason that the date of the16th is cited alot is that was the day that the certificate was filed with the local registrar.

I thought that coincidence was pretty odd. Thanks for clearing that up!

I agree 31 years and one day apart is just as eerie as 31 years exactly.

Watch the tram car please....
