Where will we be saying Oh My God! on the Voyage next year?

Holiday World is hands down one of my favorite parks I have been to. I remember first attending at the GoCC event in 2002, and wow, was that a great time. Legend and Raven are just absolutely amazing, intense, crazy rides that catch me saying Oh My God! countless times on their tracks.

The thought of HW building another world class wooden coaster really brings chills to my spine. If Voyage proves to be as good as it is looking, I might not leave the next time I visit!

My point is, which elements look to you like youre gonna be thanking GG for the seat belt and lap bar the most? Im sure there is going to be quite a few!

As for mine, the triple down through the tunnel looks to be the most satisfying section of the ride. The first three hills will probably kick ass too, but out of control is my style.

So, where will you guys be saying Oh My God! Next Spring at Holiwood Nights!? *** Edited 11/30/2005 3:32:29 AM UTC by Krypton***

Yeah, my "vote" would be for the 90° S-curve.. that's gonna be one wicked-awesome transition!

It is hard to tell from the drawings and video what the ride is going to do after the first tunnel, but it is either a double up into a nice hill or a small hill into another one right before the turnaround. Those hills look great to me and I can't wait to see how much air they have.

I am sure that the Kochs would much prefer to hear "Oh my goodness" or "Oh my gosh!"

I've heard of deathbed conversions, but roller coaster conversions?

Anyway, the layout looks so nice that I have a feeling I will be hanging on for dear life the whole ride. Actually, I'm not allowed to put my hands up anymore. Accidently elbow your wife in the head on Legend one time and you pay for it the rest of your life.

I don't usually say "Oh my God!" or "Goodness gracious!" or even "Golly Gee" on coasters. But then again my name isn't Beaver Cleaver either.

I think I'll be speechless and just laugh hysterically at all the action this coaster promises. That, and I'll also be looking for my socks that were knocked off!! ;)

If this coaster ends up being longer than the Beast, with just one lift hill while still maintaining a Holiday World coaster-ride intensity throughout, that will be an "Oh my God!" moment.

Wow, that can't be right. A wood coaster can't be that long with one lift while still maintaining all that speed. The tunnels and s-turn will be icing on the Thanksgiving Day cake is that ends up being true.

Will Pilgrims be operating the ride? *** Edited 11/30/2005 4:49:34 PM UTC by rc-madness***

I am pretty sure I will saying more than "Oh My Gawd!" once I see Voyage from Route..(I forgot the road...the one before you make a right to Holiday World...lol.)

Actually, like Chuck, I will most likely be laughing uncontrollably. :-) If I curse while riding (which is a given) I apologize in advance. :-)

Is it May yet? :-P

Legend in Insane mode with a co-rider that isn't chicken do do gets me laughing so hard my sides hurt? Or was that the four corners of death? Either way, it's a Blast!

Chuck, who appreciated Mrs. Kochs compassion in thinking I was crying. I litterally was laughing so hard but it was happy tears :)

I'd have to agree with Nasai for the most part, but if I would have to pick a section of the coaster: Triple Down!

Oh great, now Rob is gonna get a big head. ;)
Actually, what he said was the perfect description. Now what his wife will be saying is another story, but anyone who got to ride Raven or Legend near hear, knows what I'm talking about. :)
