SFGadv. Both parks have a ton of great coasters, but SFGadv are a little better.

Heres how I see it and basically the only way I plan a visit.

Theres a big park, SFMM, SFGADV, Hershey ect.

There are sometimes a few parks around those that are very much worth the visit. DO EM!

Here's what you do.....

Get a map of the USA, pin it to the wall, blindfold yourself and throw a dart at it. You could also do a "Pin The Tail On The Theme Park" game. ;-)

Or you could write down all the names of the parks you want to visit the most on little pieces of paper and put them in a hat.....

Or you could call a psychic hotline....

:-P

Heads - SFGAdv, Tails - SFMM

<Flips coin>

"Doh! I dropped it and it rolled under the desk..."

"Looks like tails, you're going to SFMM!"

"Would you like a very large dust-bunny as a souvenir?"

;)

If you MUST choose SFGrAdv or SFMM, choose Great Adv. If you can go ANYWHERE, definitely get to Kennywood and Hershey.

1-ply oir 2-ply? ;)

Here's a thought. If you want to go on a cross-country trip to a Six Flags park, how about SFOT or SFOG? Both have lots of coasters and seem to actually operate them all at once unlike the other two mentioned.

Good thing you do that annual trip to a park every year. :)

"Why can't you make up your mind?" "That's my problem, I haven't got one." Yes I watched the Wizard of Oz with my niece this past weekend.

RGB, who's thankful that nobody so far voted to go commando.

There's better food near SFMM...Marie Callendar's.

Then again, there's REALLY good bar-b-q in Texas too, and sweet tea to boot....

GAdv has VERY limited food options...but there was that nearby sitdown restaurant (Old Mill?) that was really good.

Overall, SFoT has the most best grub nearby....so I'd say go to Arlington...

Oh, coasters? Sorry, I got distracted by the dinner bell... :)

I would say either Cedar Point or Six Flags Great Adventure. They're both really good parks, however Cedar Point is my favorite.

Wow, it took a whole page for someone to mention Cedar Point. And I thought this was a Six Flags thread. ;)

Mamoosh, I live in minnesota, I like flats and coasters (unfortunately SFMM isnt known for its flats) Since I've already rode TTD I wouldnt be too excited for KK, so that might give you an idea of what I like.

/\ I am pretty sure, he is not planning on blowing his traveling expenses to visit one great hypercoaster, a puny floorless coaster, and a bunch of sh*t Vekomas.

NOT SFNE, nuff said.

If El Toro wasn't a consideration, I'd easily pick SFNE over GAd and MM. Supes and Cyclone are plenty reason to visit. Also, it would put you very close to Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce.

Ajrides - esp. given that he's almost certainly ridden MF.

Given the choice, I'd go to GAdv. but that's just based on coaster choice / reliability.

If X were certain to be up, I might give the nod to MM and just tell you to expect terrible service (yes, it's that good) but given that it will probably be closed, GAdv. is almost certainly the right choice. And you can try out the new hotels.

The onsite hotel at GAdv won't be until 2007. So they would need to find hotels nearby which means 15 to 20 mins away.

Watch the tram car please....
