SDC - Coaster Christmas ACE Event

For you procrastinators who have yet to get your rears to Missouri and ride PowderKeg, we are going to be having ERT on December 3rd! Get in gear and get to SDC. It is beautiful this time of year and really you have nothing better going on in early December. :)

This sounds like a great event, and I've been seriously considering going to it. I am concerned however with the weather. I'm sure it will be a fun event even if PowderKeg doesn't run, but I'm not sure I want to commit a plane ticket if the chances are like 50-50. During the factory tour in Utah, Stan Checketts told our group that rides that operate with compressed air don't handle cold weather very well. What is the weather in Branson typically like at that time of year? Have they been able to determine the minimum operating temperature for that ride?

I would imagine that it will be like the other coasters in the park >40* then it will run. I'll check with Jeff Mast though (or he might post the answer himself) and get back to you.

Looking at the weather channel's page. It looks like the average for December down there is in the upper 40's. It usually doesn't get overly cold in Missouri until late January/February.
