Way back in my earlier years, I went to Disney, and didn't even ride any of the coasters because I was too afraid of them. I was content to sit and watch my father and my little brother go on the 'big rides' while my mother and I sat out. A few years later, I was coerced into going on Whalom Park's Flyer Comet woodie and loved it. I must have ridden in ten times in a row. I liked it because it didn't go upside-down, my biggest fear. The big transition was visiting US Space Camp in Florida. I went on a 'multi-axis trainer' which spun me upside down several times, and rode a flight sim that did a total of three barrel rolls. I conquered my fear of inversions at Space Camp, and when my class trip to Canobie Lake came along, I was ready to ride the biggest coaster of my life: The Canobie Corkscrew. After that, I became obsessed and made an effort to ride coasters whenever possible. My track record now stands at 37, and climbing. I hope to break 50 this summer!
