CP has wood on site

I have looked over a few sites, and now seen that cedar point has wood in the area with the top of the swing.

Now im not one to point what they might do with it. because it could be for just about anything. Rehab for the wood on any of the four coasters that has wood used. It could be for a building or whatnot. It also could be for a new coaster. Heres one that might bring some spirits up, how about a wood supported flume to replace WWL.

Anyhow, I doubt it has anything to do with the swing. I just would think its wierd to do so much work in a short time, to put anything on that site in a hurry, meaning WWL. Thats like tearing it down and putting it up in just a few months. Kinda still would be cool to see what its used for.

Also they recieved metal, probably which will be used for the base of the swing, or at least the structural building of it. So i just thought i toss out this info.

Somebody mentioned on Pointbuzz that there was a stack of pre-stained wood that looked like it was going to be used for wood replacement on CCMR. Could this be it?

My guess would be either CCMR, or perhaps a structure for the gi-normous air compressors for the Screamin' Swing. The one at Dorney has a relatively sizable building behind it for their compressors (which you can see if you ride on the side facing the midway because there's a huge window on the top of the building), and I'd imagine that this being a 40-seater version it would require more air than the 8-seater version that Dorney has.

Monty Jasper mentioned on the construction tour for Dragster a few years ago that they will gradually replace all of the wood on Gemini and Mine Ride. I doubt it's anything more exciting than that.

New bathrooms!

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.

Perhaps they're going to rebuild Frontier Trail.

If this swing is going up in Frotier Town then they are going to have to theme it somehow so it will fit in... What better way then with some wood right?

That doesn't work if you're using designer cookware. Your pot could be blue and your kettle could be red.

I think Emeril's got a few pieces like that.

Plus, who cooks over open flame these days, anyway? My flat ceramic cooktop surface doesn't even turn my cheap teakettle black, let alone my good calphalon.

(Of course, the calphalon is already a dark chocolate color, so maybe it is close enough.)

I do covet Emeril's Le Creuset, though. That's stuff is amazing.

The cedar point blog has now mentioned the wood like it is part of something big, but then again their BIG announcement was that they were taking a ride down so we will see.
