Hypercoaster Drops?

No company has ever made this before, but I would like to see a tall twisted drop that turns 180 degrees like the Steel Phantom's, er.. Phatom's Reventge's first drop on a hyper.

I like the straight drops. When in the front seat you "hang" over the edge looking straight down. That adds a lot of excitement. When in the back of the same kind you get airtime. Its compact with bonus'.

Well Intamin's New hyper in Germany called Expedition G force is going to have a 200 foot 180* twisting 90* first drop. Go to the RCDB to view some pics,there of the twist and starting the drop as well as the first overbanked turn.

I hate twisting drops. Straight drops like MF and Goliath are the best IMHO.

Twisting drops aren't bad... They're just not for hypercoasters. Raptor has one of the best looper drops in the world, and yes, it's basically an elongated s-curve, not straight.

In my opinion, I love Mantis' drop for some reason. The little dip and turn, then the little 2 foot climb and fall.

On hypers, I think the dip is best first, because you get a little speed going and essentially fall off a cliff. It's great.
