RCT1 Scenarios Available for RCT3

I figured this would probably be of interest to more than a few of you. I stumbled across these remakes of the original RCT scenarios (and addon scenarios).

I haven't had a chance to mess with any of them yet, but they look very well done from the screenshots.

Might be worth it to check out if it even captures a fraction of how fun the game used to be.

I have to admit that it would be interesting to try a few, because they were fun in the original game, with the original game engine. Not so sure we could expect the same thing in 3.

Hmmm...I haven't played any scenarios much since RCT1. Course, with RCT2 I could make my own, and I love doing that, but I actually enjoyed them on RCT1.

I will download these soon enough :).

Makes me want to bust out some RCT1 really really bad. Man they did an awesome job capturing that. I might have to remake some oldies. Again those are just awesome. Awesome find Gonch. :)

Anyone actually try one of them yet? I still haven't found time to sit down with one. Wondering how well done they are.

I only looked at Three Monkeys Park, the one with the 3 racers, and they are done amazingly. Its to bad that the game lags so horrible. Otherwise I might be a little more interested. They look good, visually. But run like crap. ;)

hell all of them run pretty great...although fireworks with these parks aren't a very good idea..but other than that...works like a charm for me. ;) I downloaded Diamond Heights, Dynamite Dunes (Soaked version), leafy lake, funtopia, and razor rock and have been playing them non stop for days...they rock...the rct3 versions are just gay...but rct3 soaked versions are better! I love them.

Cool concept.
Being off tomorrow, I'll try some of those out tonight and report on it.

Megaworld Park is an amazing recreation! All the rides that were in the original are perfectly rebuilt in this scenario.

Although I have an average of 4 fps in nightmode I was able to pack in 3000 guests (and they did not get lost. )

Funny, but these scenarios are more fun that anything that was to follow in RCT2 and 3.

I gotta down load those "Original" scenarios from RCT1. They were my favorites of all of the versions and add ons.

I'd still like to know what Gonch thinks of them..he is like RCT god status around here. ;)

I don't know Gonch, but I think I know what I'm going to do next time I decide to fire up RCT3...

Eh, the scenarios appear to have unresolvable errors. I get endless message about my mechanics not being able to reach rides and that I should consider hiring more... he he...

You get that message because the parks has no mechanics, you need to hire a few so that they can fix the rides just like how it is with rct2, nothing has really changed.

Or name a guest "Frontier" & you'll no longer worry about breakdowns :) .

I created a peep in the editor using that name for just such purposes,along with the jonny watts peepcam one as well.
