The line ride? South park LOL

Watched South Park last night where they visited this carnival and one ride the rode was The Line RIDE.

Basically they stood in line for 45 minutes and there was nothing at the end.

Have you ever felt this way or was in a Lets just get it over with mood from waiting in line. Or did the ride just not impress after waiting so long?

Not to bash any park but sometimes at parks I've had the feeling of, *Just get it over with already!* even if it was a signature attraction, It didn't feel like it was worth it.

Well, they did take the boys picture while on The Line Ride, so Six Flags could at least profit off of that.

True but new off the hook material is not easy to come by.

South Park in some cases is so recent that they had a mock Terri Schivao episode on while she was still dying. I found that episode to while still being funny, To be to REAL if you know what I mean?

THE South Park episode that I will *always* be thankful for is the Bugs Bunny/Osama bin Laden episode. That was the one that, in a lot of ways, made it OK to laugh again after 9/11...

Was this the old episode that had "John Denver: The Ride". (Basically a "plane" type of thing on the end of a long arm that you sat in. It lifted you off the ground, and then slammed the "plane" into the ground several times?)

I just said this to Moosh the other day, but I think South Park is highly underrated. If you dig just a hair below the juvenile potty humor surface, it is actually one of the best sources for social/current events satire around today.

The Swiss Family Tree House, although somewhat interesting, seemed like one big queue line to me when I was there in December, just one slow moving line, and I was kinda expecting something near the end lol..

No the best one was the Wall-Mart episode. If you work there or have EVER worked there, you would have been laughing your butt off. BTW: there REALLY IS a mirror in the back. :)

P18 Wasn't there a gift shop at the end of the Swist Family Tree House? Thats something :)

Comedy Central in general has become one of the best places to catch great current events, political satire, material that cuts through the bulls***, telling it like it is, etc. South Park's sophmoric on the surface, but incredibly deep and smart underneath. Mind of Mencia is straight tell it like it is, and the observations are absolutely dead-on, as polically incorrect as they are. Chapelle's Show is the basis for half the slang and street quotes around these days. And of course, the Daily Show's the cream of the crop - there is NO better source for TRUE current events and a honest look at the issues that REALLY matter. Yes the 2nd segment is just for laughs, but usually there's more real information to make you think and make you aware of the real issues of the world in the 1st and 3rd than there is on CNN all day long, and you're laughing through the entire thing!

ahh the gift shop....yeah, true, it is something... I dont think it was worth the wait though...lol
