Nudity on coasters

I know this is weird, but I was thinking about this at another site I visit, and it occurred to me.... has there ever been an event that was sponsored by a nudist colony, or just a nude coaster riding event in general?

Again, not trying to mess with anyone, but the idea "popped" into my head. Really, just curious if it's ever happened, and if so, WHY?

Other than the stunts to get records [most nude people on a coaster like on Nemesis, etc] I could swear I recall a nude ERT event at Oakwood.

Anyone else, or am I incorrect?

yup, it happened and I can't remember which. Either Nemesis or Nemesis Inferno

IIRC both Nemesis and Nemesis Inferno has nude riders but I thought it was for a publicity stunt, not an ERT event. Nasai is asking about an actual event.

AIR at Alton Towers did the publicity stunt too. Don't know about events.

Colossus at TP had one too.

Way back when First Drop was in glorious monochrome there was an article and photo (suitably censored lol) from Oakwood of Paddy McNamara and a few engineers (IIRC) riding Megafobia in the buff :)

Why do you ask, Rob? Do you want to start an event like this?

I could see doing this on a B&M floorless or inverted, but I can't even imagine riding nude on a woody, especially a rough one.

I think riding a coaster in the nude would be fun to do, just as long as it didnt have airtime because some coaster bust my balls with cloths on and I don't want to imagine what they would do with out. I think riding a skycoaster would be fun also.

I'm interested in it, admittedly, but moreso, just curious. As I said, it just kind of popped into my head last night.

I'd love to have a nude event, but I'd have to bring a towel to sit on. Just think how bad it'd get on some of those seats. :-O

Sounds like great fun to me. Probably never happen in the U.S. though. People are too damn repressed here. Which is why this sort of thing happens in Europe and not the U.S.

Nude coaster riding? It's have to be an Invertigo model so you could sit face to face with other nude riders. I imagine that could get quite hilarious.

Nice link there Gonch...we COULD have a US version of the nekkid European coaster-rides where we just allow people to carry (semi-concealed?) weapons....that would keep the "prudish" off our backs...so to speak!

You know a nude event would just be one huge sausagefest as with most of the non-nude coaster enthusiast events I've been to. I can only imagine what well-endowed women go through trying to ride an air-time filled coaster in the nude.

Their would be alot of poeple looking from the parking lot if they could not get in PKI.
