shuttle coasters hitting the edge?

Has there ever been an incidence where SUE/Mr. Freeze or another coaster like that has gone too fast and hit the "stopper" at the top?

Not that I know of.....but, there was an instince where I was in line for Mr. Freeze and the train didn't go fast enough. It went up the first "loop" and came immediatly back down into the station.
Well I guess that's better then going over.

What is life with out coasters, geniuses, and/or SFA
A friend of mine told me how he rode Monte durring the haunt. He said that it hit both bumpers. They did shut down the ride after that. I wonder why.

Superman The Escape hits the magnetic breaks at the top every so often. That faily close to hitting the bumper.
There is no bumper on S:TE only on S:UE. Also, Speed: TR goes pretty high up its tower depending on the wieght of the train and wind speed. Sometimes it will reach the very first brake at the top.

This brings up a quick question. Does anybody know how the emergency braking system on First Generation Intamin FreeFall's work?
Knott's Montezooma's Revenge hits the rear spike bumper occasionally. I've seen S:TE practically touch those block 'brakes' at the very top of the tower. Just depends on how heavy the train load is.
