Having done Raging Bull and Apollo's Chariot, I'm sure to love this version of GOLIATH. I'm wishing my home movie-themed park will follow suit in '07. *** Edited 9/1/2005 3:52:32 PM UTC by CoastersNSich***

Too bad, a ride unworthy of it's name, IMO
How so^
IMO this coaster looks great and the name fits, heck it looks 10x better then SFMM Goliath.
I hear some complaints about two trains on the net, I have to ask where would the third train go. The ride is only 4800 feet with no MCBR how would SFOG run three trains. If they did and had trains stacked then that would just give people something else to complain about. Is coaster enthusiast ever happy?
Anyways this looks like it going to be a great coaster, I love how it hops over the road and ponds outside the park. That downward sprial looks nuts and the layout looks like it's going to have airtime galor so IMO I don't see where the complaints are comming from again are enthusiast ever happy? *** Edited 9/1/2005 7:05:38 PM UTC by westcoaster man***
This looks awesome kinda like Nitro but different. I wonder if I can talk someone into sending me to Atlanta for some training that ends of say a friday ;)
Regardless, it looks like a great addition!!

Load ~:45
Lift ~:60
Ride ~:60
Unload ~:45
TOTAL ~3:30
From what I gather from the math, adding a 3rd train on the current layout would just end up stacking a train at the end - so why bother?
After all, there's no way to calm this baby down without a mid-course on the field.
1. Batman
2. Scorcher
3. Superman
4. Goliath
I beleive thats the most. I hope I can go back. This looks to be an amazing coaster. One thing I noticed was there was no pre-drop that B&M usually does with their bigger coasters. There is one that comes to mind that doesn't have the pre-drop, Silver Star. But I beleive thats the only one. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
i'm not sure what to put here..
I found something that peaked my interest. I was taking a look see about Goliath on RCDB and it was in the category of a B&M sitdown. So I clicked on it and got this page. http://www.rcdb.com/installationresult.htm?column=1,10,3,4,5&order=1,2&model=125
Now my question is why they would put it in that category. Its a hyper. It doesn't have OTSR. Just curious as to why its put like that.
