Astroneedle

Can somebody tell me about the astroneedle at Six Flags Astroworld cuz i never got to ride it :(.

Since I've never been to SFM, was it ever moved and installed there?

The old astroneedle was tooking out back in 1999 but it is still in Astroworld but it is in pieces right next to Astroworld behind its main office. I wish they put it back in the park cuz i never rode it before.

Jon - it was not at SFM when I visited in 2002. Flare was just there a few weeks ago...I'll ask him but I doubt it was ever rebuilt.

The Astroneedle is most likely beyond rebuiliding. It has been in the elements a long long time now. I am really surprised they have not sold it for scap already.

If you want the experience go visit Cedar Point. They have the same ride, with a better view!

cedar point's skyneedle is kinda smaller than the astroneedle so i read. cedar point's is 330ft but astroworld's is 358ft.
