EDIT: apparently this is a soft opening, with the park intermittently letting guests onto the ride. The rest of the time, they are doing empty launches. *** Edited 7/30/2005 7:20:06 PM UTC by Goliath Freak***

Someone close to the park told me it would reopen yesterday....glad to hear it's up and running!
Let's just hope for the best, although it's not announced on the Six Flags site yet, hence the "soft opening".

NOW.....let's see it it runs well and consistantly. Pre-accident reliability seemed to leave a LOT to be desired. Especially after "learning" from Dragsters problems. *** Edited 7/30/2005 8:49:24 PM UTC by Peabody***
I would think that NJ officials would have to clear it for reopening. They were so hard on the orginal opening, lets just hope for all who can make it there this year they get to experience the tallest and fastest coaster on earth.(Unfortunately i wont be one of them.)
Good Luck to all you ready to take the KING on!

EDIT: Apparently the commercials are once again playing for Kingda Ka. Let's all hope for the best! *** Edited 8/3/2005 2:04:18 AM UTC by Goliath Freak***
