I just updated it with pics... I hope everyone rereads it now. I have a lot more pics, but mostly of scenery.... and God knows nobody at a coaster site would be interested in that. ;)

Well, I did say to Playa that I had used bukkake as a synonym (incorrectly) for X. It should have been a descriptive for Hades. ;)

I'm wondering what you'll say about Holiday World's new one, then ;).

I think you just needed more Hades laps. (Well DUH...but wait, I'm getting to a point!)

When you're a little more familiar with the tunnel sequence (slight bump, long dip, 90 degree going in, etc) it actually becomes a better coaster than when you don't. At that point, you can appreciate the intended pacing and composition. It gets good on a completely different level.

Once I got too tired to climb the racing slide stairs, anyway. And that took close to a couple dozen trips...

^In agreement. Yessirree....... :) That little drop on the outbound path is just wicked, right before the 90.

There, Rob, I read your TR. Happy? ;)

Looks like you had a great trip. Glad you made it home safely and sane (relatively speaking, given who we're talking about), as that much driving alone would have driven me nuts.

And I NEED to get to Wisconsin...

Chris, yes, I'm happy now. :) Hope you're well.... I would have loved that you joined me. You do NEED to go to Wisconsin. There's a helluva lot of wood there, and it doesn't need trimming. ;)

Thanks for adding the links to your pics, Rob. The poor car in flames remids me of a similiar incident I saw on my way to HW during SRM 2 years ago. Scary.

The pics of Mt. Rushmore and Little Big Horn are breathtaking. I WILL get out to that area at some point. ;-)

Oh, the coaster pics aren't too shabby either. :-P

Poor car? Nah. Buick Regals of that vintage deserve to go out in a Blaze of Glory! :)

Great TR. Did you ever get a chance to ride Bull before the days of heavy trimming? Back in 1999 and 2000, and probably even 2001 you couldn't even tell the trim on the 3rd hill was there, and on the MCBR the trims were on very minimal, making contact with the train for a half second at the MOST. I also am a little dissapointed with that aspect of the ride this season however.

I did, but I don't recall if they were on, or not, or lightly, etc.... Regardless, it's too sad it's like it is. It could be the best B&M ever. :(

Thanks for the nice comments, and you're welcome Tina!!!

Hey Rob I had a blast. I was actually going to do a TR for that evening and title it "An evening with nasai or taint soup". :)

Wish I could have made it to the Dells with you too. After seeing some of those pics, I wish I could have taken the weekend off and made the trip back with ya.

Frank, who can't believe Rob actually got a TR done this fast! ;)
