Flood's and Theme park's
Cincinatti's Coney Island used to flood frequently. Now, my Cincinatti history is fuzzy (as is, no doubt, my spelling of Cincinatti), but I seem to remeber reading it was the constant flooding that led to the creation of Kings Island, the desire to relocate the park to a less flood prone area.

In June 1972 Hurricane Agnes moved up from the gulf coast and up the eastern sea board, eventually moving across Pennsylvania.
The low sections of Hersheypark were flooded out with the most notable loss being their "Lost River" ride along Spring Creek. Luckily the year before their Carrousel was moved from its old building along the creek to where it now sits in Carrousel Circle (on higher ground). The comet (their only coaster at that time) suffered very little damage (if any) even though it spans the creek. The book "Hersheypark: The Sweetness of Success" has some good pictures of the flood waters including an interesting one of a car from the old Turnpike ride floating in the creek (all you can see is the grill and headlights poking above the waters).
Knoebels also got hit in that flood. The creek that runs through that park over flowed and left many of the rides underwater and filled with mud. I don't think there were many major losses to rides, but some of the cabins were destroyed. Today some of the buildings near the creek have markers on them to show how high the flood waters got.

I saw somewhere that Titan was flooded in one of it's low parts. They drained it though. I don't think it affected construction that much. Here's the link to the site with a pic of it underwater.

Slithernoggin is right about Kings Island/Coney Island. It used to have devastating floods quite frequently, and that is why the rides were moved to Kings Island.
The old Coney Island is still there, just off of Cincinnati's Outerbelt (I-275), directly in front of the Ohio River. They have a few rides, a small mouse-type coaster and a huge swimming pool and water slides. There is a marker there that shows the level of the river during the floods each year...and the top one is about 50 feet high if I remember right.
There is a great coffee table book called (I think) "Goodbye, Coney Island, Goodbye" that shows the flood damage nicely.

As someone above stated earlier Knoebels did get hit by Hurricane Agnes did hit Knoebels. To come back from the flood they decided to build a new Roller Rink. After some thought they decided to fix the old rink so the new building became the Haunted Mansion.
Knoebels gets flooded every few years I believe the latest time was in 96. Somehow they always manage to open on time though. :)
