Cincinatti's Coney Island used to flood frequently. Now, my Cincinatti history is fuzzy (as is, no doubt, my spelling of Cincinatti), but I seem to remeber reading it was the constant flooding that led to the creation of Kings Island, the desire to relocate the park to a less flood prone area.
