This year's forgotten Rocket?

This is Galaxy Express 999, an indoor Intamin Rocket. Anybody know of any pics? I'd love to see if this is RITA-esq, or something even more different.

It is a FACT that The Voyage is the greatest thing on the planet!!

Supposedly it's quite an intense ride, but very, very short. I am supposed to be riding it in a couple of months but was told it wasn't worth the dough to ride.

It launches trains much differently than every other rocket. Instead of having a large motor at the end that pulls the launch sled, the new coaster uses drive wheels to launch the train with hydraulics.

LoL! And most all Japanese people can fit into the Intamin restraints, because Japan dosn't have the obesity/wide body range problem like America has.

I don't think it has "funky" trains, I just think this is Intamin's new lapbar seats, notice the side wraps around what would be the side of the passengers body.

(if you leave it without mousing over anything, then you get another photo of the trains come up)

From those pictures it looks like there is only one row per car, which is quite odd.

You mean Intamin is actually doing something about this seat problem? :P

I think you are correct though. Maybe Intamin can retrofit KK and Rita with these? I doubt it.

So does anybody have any pictures of this thing? I would love to see what it looks like on the inside and what type if layout it has.

i'm not sure what to put here..

Looks interesting, doesn't look like stadium seating. Actually, they look very retro. I can't wait to get to Japan!
