Intamin 4D

Does anyone have any information concerning this picture, like where it came from, where/when it was taken? This is the first time I've seen actual photo evidence that another company is consider the 4th Dimension concept.

It was taken at Intamin's factory. The Intamin Ball Coaster really doesn't have much in common with the 4D. The experience and track configurations offered are essentially a higher-capacity, LIM-powered version of the Interactive Rides Frequent Faller (although Intamin can probably price thier ride so they don't have to ask for an additional $1.5 million after production has started).

I'd pay an extra Million or 2 if it wouldn't constantly break down and have huge mechanical failures (Even more if larger folks could ride it and it wouldn't cause fatalities)

First, it's not a 4D coaster. A 4D coaster has that extra rail to control the flips. The tub on the Intamin 4D swings independently. It would be more like the frequent faller made by Interactive Rides. *** Edited 6/15/2005 5:41:38 PM UTC by Coasterbuzzer***

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Intamin's Ball coaster more like the Frequent Faller? ;)
