Nitro's drop

Wow, what a drop. I was one of the first ones on it today and it was great. Anyways, what is the decent degrees of the first drop?

I think 68.

so how would you compare it to Apollo's Chariot and Raging Bull?

It is 66. What I didnt like was how right after the first drop, the track curves left, then rises up. It kind of jolted my back, but otherwise it was a phonomenal ride!!

My first two times on Nitro today was in the middle section of the car and my reaction was, smooth, comfortable as a recliner chair, not very exciting, what was all the hype about. Then I decided to wait the extra time for the front row...WELL, let me tell you, the difference was UNREAL!!! That's the ONLY ROW to ride Nitro from. The first drop really did seem straight down from the front row, and what great air!!! I'm hooked!!!

Raging Bull & Apollo's Chariot are 65° which doesn't make Nitro (66°) that much steeper than the other two. But I suppose the reason to why it looks steeper is because the lift & drop is bigger than those on RB & AC.

It probably looks steeper due to the recline angle of the seats in the new train design. The steeper the recline of the seats, the steeper the drop will appear to be.
