I had no idea that there was a real Wally World. Great find, Tekno.

Gee, I guess that means when ignorant people see me wearing my Wally World shirt and ask where it is I can tell them it was in England.

I realize not everyone watches TV and movies but it's hard to believe how many time I get asked "Where's Wally World?

"Heavily medicated for your safety!"

Does that means there was a real Clark Griswald in London?

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

That's London, Ontario (Canada), not London, UK. It's a bit south of Toronto.

I like to think of it as directly north across the lake from Cleveland!

I've heard 'Wally World' in reference to Wal-Mart in California, Ohio, Penn, VA, WV, NC, SC, and Mass, actually.

Lakemont Park was called Wally World for a short time after the failed "Boyertown" incedent. It was named after the oldies radio station here in Central PA, WALY 104, now known as WALY 103.9.

Seriously...What genius thought it would be a good idea to name a "theme?" park after and oldies radio station?

I work at Wal-Mart, and everyone calls it Wally World. The name is very common to describe Wal-Mart. If the Wal-mart brand name starts to fail, they could always switch to the Wally World name. The new image would fit how everyone feels about the place anyway...it really is a whole other wacky world inside every Wal-Mart.

Speaking of "Boyertown," I think I have some Mallo-Cup money lying around. Wonder if I have enough to cash in.

In Altoona, you can go to the Boyer factory outlet on 17th Street and buy a huge bag of imperfect Mallo Cups for a very low price.

Great, now I'm craving them...

You can visit the world headquarters of Sheetz, Inc. in Altoona as well, another chapter I'm glad I've laid to rest.
