ALOT of those rides can be found across Europe. Quite fun, but most of them either require an extra fee, or have a very long queue.

I would ride it. Looks like it would be a blast. It would only be unsafe to someone who would try to do something stupid.

It doesn't even look that fun to me... but that doesn't mean I wouldn't ride it.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!

This is the closest I've come to something like that...it was well worth the wait....got off the first run unscathed and tried my luck again, pushing it once too much, got soaky-butt on the second run.

http://www.libertyland.com/waterslide.htm

It ended with a falt run into the water section, then had an astroturf run-out into dry land. Good times!

Found a pic of mine that kinda gives the DROP (pretty steep considering *those* vehicles, LOL)...

rollergator, I was slightly annoyed when Wyandot Lake took theirs out, more annoyed when Geauga Lake removed theirs.

As for the ride that started this thread...actually, the rider would get NO airtime at all on that thing. To get airtime, the vehicle MUST fall faster than the rider, and that won't happen if both are free-falling.
