Well not sure if it has before but didn't see anyone else post it on here. Today, they have started testing and looks to be a nice addition to the park. I'll be there mid may.

maXair has been testing for about a week now. All that it looks like there is left to do is the que and landscaping.

Hmmm, isn't promoting your site in a message a TOS violation? :)

Just so that this not be a completely useless post, I might add - how many of these giant Frisbees exist now? Bobbejaanland, PKI, Cedar Point, Nagashima Spaland, ...?

Does look like it fits in there nicely, will be interesting to see such a huge flat ride at Cedar Point. When is Knoebels going to get their frisbee (or moser sidewinder rather) up? They have just started construction and CP's giant frisbee is testing...

By Looking at the picture, I'm trying to figure out what, if anything is missing. Did they remove any buildings to put MaxAir in that spot???

Pki was the inovater of the giant frisbie in america! Is cp going to market it as the worlds tallest frisbee it has a whopping 3 feet higher swing than pki's from the listings.

LMAO Mooshy!!! Too damn funny. Yeah Cedar Point has the HIGHEST Frisbee on the PLANET!! That's what it says in my CP getaway guide.

No, from what I've seen CP has not marketed their frisbee as any bigger. It just has the "best spin cycle on the planet."

Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

Has anyone noticed which direction maXair is rotating? Is it to the riders' left (ala Delirium) or to the riders' right (ala not-Delirium)?

I have a question about this kind of ride as I have not been on one yet. How intense is a ride of this kind? Is MaXair's forcfullness comparable more to Rapter/Mantis, or is it less intense like maybe Gemini or Magnum?

I need to know if it is something my 11 year old friend JD would like, or if I shouldn't even suggest to him that he ride it.

Strangely, he really want to ride ripcord, so maybe I won't have a problem getting him to ride MaXair.

It looks like a great ride, anyway.

Rather than asking a bunch of people you don't know if somebody we've never met would find a ride too intense, why don't you have your friend watch the ride operate and let him make up his own mind?

Frisbees aren't really that intense. Fun, nice airtime, and cool views as you are spinning around ,but there isn't much intesity to the ride. If you want a spin n' puke, this isn't it, but it's probably one of the better flats made today.

maXair spins clockwise, so opposite of Delirium.
