I've had that list/link emailed to me at least the last 4 years every spring by over-excitable family members and co-workers who feel that I need to read every coaster related article and see every coaster related picture they can find.

I just got an email from a co-worker who was all excited to send me pictures of this great new coaster opening this year at Cedar Point. They had pictures of it in the snow including this scary picture looking straight down at the ground and there are rumors that it might be over 400 feet tall! I didn't wanna burst their bubble ...

LOL...I've received that same Dragster email from a ton of friends, too. Seems that's making the rounds again. I don't have the heart to tell them the truth either, I just reply with a "cool, thanks!" and leave it at that ;)

I'm not quite sure what the criteria are for making this list. I looked through some of the reader reviews, and the majority of reviews for Astroworld were average, below average, or not recommended. Yet the park still gets an average rating of 9.4 out of 10. WTF?

Citysearch must only know the names of 10 parks.

Note that all ten parks are in North America. That itself speaks volumes about the accuracy of the list.

Well, it does say "the country's best amusement parks." Not the world's. Since citysearch is basically an American travel site, I guess America is the country they're talking about.
