I'll give $100 to the first one that can find a Cedar Fair trash can that is over filled. Anyone?...
Now I wish I had a photo of that one from the Iron Dragon queue. It was a badly-placed can located where it couldn't be emptied while the queue was full, which it was all day that day.
But while we snicker at Cedar Fair's (over)use of trash containers, the very presence of those cans makes a difference. You never have to look far to find a trash can at a Cedar Fair park. And when people can find trash cans, they are less likely to make a mess of the midway.

Your comment reminded me of this picture I took at SFStL in '03.

That is what makes the Batman: The Rides work so well...
Edit: Oh yeah... it was in May... the beginning of the season.

It was kinda sad actually, as there were days at Geauga Lake when the number of Trashcans outnumbered guests 2:1.
That's true.
I often wonder why some people throw there trash on the ground even when they can't find a trash can. Maybe it was just the way I was raised but I would have never just thrown my trash anywhere.
By the way, I remember Six Flags Over Texas being very clean.
