The version at SFDL does not drop below the height the coaster is at when it reaches the lift, but the lift is slightly taller, the drop is still 205'.
As for the difference in length, I'd say it's either a rounding difference, or the one at SFA includes the length of the station and the one at SFDL does not. Otherwise, it may be possible that SFA slightly shortened the length of the straight sections between the hills and the helixes. Either way, none of the differences, beside the fact that the ride is mirrored, are really noticeable when riding the two attractions.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

All the footers set nice and level with the ground except in the back leftmost portion of the ride where the ground slopes down and the footers have been extend to compinsate for it. The same thing was done for the two mirrored Superman coastrers as you noted.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
