I believe there was a discussion on Coasterbuzz about a year ago or so, you might find more responses in that.
I understand from those who have ridden it since, especially around the time the park's Morgan hyper opened just recently, that there was extensive retracking and that the experience was much better.

I rode it in Aug 2002 and the Gerstlauers tracked horribly. The coaster has a unique, twisted Boss-like layout but unfortunately wasn't all that fun when I rode it.
Man that sucks! I thought it did look like the boss, and thought it had potential. Just like the Boss, but those horrible trains kill a potential to 10.....
I'd add Junior Eads to "the short list."
...and, I wanna give props to the *magician* that keeps the Silverwoodies running like THAT! One final shout out to the dude that keeps TX Cyclone in near-perfect condition despite the Morgan trains...
Hehe, I once tried to convince Jeff H. to *teach* wood-coaster maintenance....yeah, I'm a geek! :)

You wouldn't hear the GPers complaining about "those rough wooden coasters"...;)
There would be a LOT less of trim brakes being used as *preventative maintenance*...
And I would never again have to hear the ridiculous argument "it was tearing the trackwork apart"...
But Psyclone would STILL be best used as kindling...;)
