The trains look a little silly, but still pretty cool. I am excited this is on my list this year.

Intamin Fan, if it were a real mini you wouldnt even be able to fit four people in!

Correction to what I said before, the trains wern't COMPLETLY damaged, at least not enough to delay the opening of the ride. Here's the link, the article is the third down on this page of local "news briefs"...

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

Is anyone else disappointed with the way the trains came out? I think they look like toy cars rather than real Mini-Coopers. I undertand that the designers are limited, but they look too fake to me. The tires look like they have been taken off a HotWheels car and the whole train itself lacks the detail I though it would have. Hopefully they still need to add some finishing pieces to the trains to make them look finished and realistic.

I suspect there is some detailing [racing stripes, etc] left to be done to the trains to make them look more like mini-coopers. Wait until the ride opens!

Well I think that is a good idea....as we all know what heppens when you put real tires onto a coaster train.

But Mark, real tires are so much more exciting! I mean come on, possible death by tire vs. hot wheels toy theme on a roller coaster, I know which I'd choose every time!

Look at that Head Chopper!!! that looks amazingly close! I agree the Mini look pretty fake. The hoods of real minis are longer. I know they could not make the cars the exactlly the same. But come-on they can do better then that.

The LIM fins are funny looking. Or is that part of the transfer track?

You guys are way too critical.

The cars are very cute.

I can't believe people bitc# over how the train looks.

I hope this will be one of the ERT rides for Beastbuzz. The little bunny hop under that "headchopper" bridge and the helix in the parking structure alone have me thinking this little coaster is going to be way more fun than one would initially think.

Can I assume those waiting in line will be walking over that bridge?

Ummm I never said anything about putting real tires on the trains. I was just pointing out that they look really fake. It is possible to make fake tires that look real without using actual tires.

I think they should bring in the people from "Pimp My Ride" in. New body kits, Giovanna (sp?) 15-inch rims with the phat Pirelli tires, a slamming sound system, and when it rains, a convertible top that automatically raises. Can you tell I've watched the show one too many times? Even my parents have watched an episode or two. By the way, the Mini owner got a good laugh out of the picture.
