AUTO CAD Files

Any one working on any AutoCAD Files of amusement park rides. I would love to work and share my CAD knowledge and trade some files.

I do some thing's here and there. I made Power Tower from Cedar Point for a final project my Senior Yr. I still have it burnt on a disk, I'd have to send it to you from my school account cause the file is so big, aol would never send it at my house. Give me a couple days I'll try and get it to you if I can. What Auto CAD you running off of (2004 or 05) just curious.

Wow, thats amazing. I did a Inventor model based on Power Tower (isn't exactly the same) for my senior year too. I have pictures of it, but I dont have them online and they are 500 miles away at school right now.

I'll try and remember to post them next week.

I found the cd, tommorrow. I'm not in the lab again till next tuesday. I'll send the file form my school. Account but I can post up my rendered photos I saved as jpegs. Ill post the link tonight.

Here's the link to one Pic, Yes I know you'll notice its missing one key factor the crown. Well let me explain myself, I had massive amounts of trouble to making the crown much like the real thing is. I get this same problem when I try to make curved track pieces when I attempted to make TTD as the final project instead. But hopefully you's will get a kick out of it anyways. Like I said next week Ill try and send it out, it is quite the large file.

That is very good work. By the time I graduate I should be able to do the same. Were starting 3D in MicroStation next week. I don't have a full out 3D course until May. Look foreword to those files.

Thats awesome man. I never thought of taking an angle shot like you did in the 4th picture thats an amazing shot. And about the crown, lol, Darn thing was so frustarting to make, actually the furthest I got with my attempt was. I had all the curved poles running up to make the crown, but for the life of me I couldn't get the Z brace in. Talk about an impossible task(well Im sure there is a way, but I just didn't have enough time). I would have put my attempted crown in the final dwg. But I was like, I either have done right or I don't have it at all, I get picky like that sometimes. Thanks for posting the pics.
