Six Flags Season Pass - Any Trouble @ other parks
Last year I went to 7 SF parks with my SF America pass. To speed up entry some parks scan your pass, and some don't. My only problems was that the SF St. Louis scanners didn't like the bar code on my SF America pass. So, Guest Relations took a quick glance at it, gave me a comp pass, and I was on my way. It was only a 90 second inconvenience and that was the biggest problem I had out of 7 parks.

I've used my SFA pass at both Great Adventure and Ohio and have had no problems. It feels like you're getting away with murder because you're only paying to park, but why complain? The only problem I could forsee is that might not let you use your pass beyond October because that's as long as our season is (I don't know how long SFMM season is).
From the back of the SFA 2001 season pass (I processed mine last Saturday):
"SIX FLAGS THEME PARKS, THE GREAT ESCAPE AND WYANDOT LAKE PASSES: Once processed at the park shown on the reverse side, your season pass may be used at any Six Flags Theme Park, The Great Escape and Wyandot Lake on regular operating days (not valid at waterparks of Frontier City/Whit Water Bay)."
That would lead me to believe that the SFA pass would still be vaild for SFMM days in November and December. What you really need to take a look at though is if you can still buy an SFMM Parking Pass with an SFA theme park pass. (Call SFMM to verify). If not, seriously think about how many times you will have to pay for parking. You might come out ahead just getting everything from SFMM. But if you can get the season pass from SFA and still get a parking pass @ SFMM, then you are in there like swimwear!

Actually I believe that Six Flags passes are tied to the season of the park they are purchased at. I don't have mine from last year so I can't quote exactly.
Last year we purchased we travelled from Chicago to Six Flags Ohio and bought passes that we used all season at Great America and St Louis. We had the same problem at St Louis as did the post above, but that was the only problem.

I bought a SFKK season pass last year and when I went to SFSTL, they didn't even bother scanning it. They sent me directly to the guest relations window and gave me a ticket to enter with. AFTER I had waited in line for about 20 minutes or so. It didn't do me any good to get frustrated at the wait though, the park opens at a certain time but holds guests at two points after they enter. Then at a certain time, a security guard makes everybody WALK SLOWLY, to the attractions. All this to avoid a stampede.

I usually buy my season passes from SFA in Largo, Md. I live in Philly, but the prices for SFGAdv season passes were ridiculous!!! By getting a 4 pack from SFA, I can save $80!!! For that, I'll make the 2 1/2 hrs. ride there. I've had no problem using my passes at Great Adventure, Darien Lake, Six Flags New England, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags over Texas and Fiesta, or Magic Mountain!! This is definitely the best bargain for the amusement park person!! Six Flags used to be the only ones that did this (allowing season passes to be accepted at just about all of their parks), but now I see that Paramount, and CedarFair are also jumping on the bandwagon and is now currently doing the same thing!!!!

Yes that is correct. It is also the same way with CF:LP passes. So if people from VF, CP, and DP were smart they would buy a WOF pass which is cheaper and they could use it longer than their homepark pass.....in case they happen to go to California and were in the neighborhood of the Farm.

I know that Funtime Inc. used to do this long before the Premier take-over in 1996.
I used my SFEG pass at sfsl and sfo last year no trouble. Another kewl thing i did was on my way from CO to Ohio I stop at WOF and bought a pass that was cheaper then buying it at CP or buying 3 single day passes. I forget how much I saved I bought a WOF season instead of a CP season. It was a great vacation 5 parks in 13 days. I'm already am planning to hit all the 6 Flags in Texas next summer
