Halfpipe Question

I saw some photos of Halfpipe today at SFEG and I was wondering, do the seats rotate 360? Not each seat but the the circle of the 8? You can see a pic here and understand what I'm talking about http://www.coasterbuzz.com/rollercoasterphoto.htm?i=2513

Also has anyone ridden this and if so what did you think about it?

Each pod of seats is free to rotate in clockwise or counter-clockwise and will do so depending on the weight distribution.

Rode it last summer and thought that it was a lot of fun. Nothing spectacular but it did offer a new type of thrill sensation for me, which is always welcome.
