I don't see any reason why they wouldn't close it. Even on busy days, there was never any line, as far as I know. The smaller log flume was always faster, more fun and more crowded, and will be especially more so now with the new theming. Plus, the Keelboats are in a prime location, with an entrance right next to the Beast that could easily go back into the woods.
I say, tear it out and give us another scary night ride in the trees!
