Dorney....

I was just driving by the park today and noticed that there was a medium/small sized crane down behind Laser where Chester Cheatah used to be. There is also a black steel tower that is a little bit smaller than the crane. Does anybody know what this is for?

I have noticed that too. That area has been being worked on for the past couple months, and leads me to think that next years project will be placed in that area of the park. There is a rumor on Thrillride about a "two coaster contract" between Dorney and B&M, but I have never been one to believe the whole contract scenario. I do know however, that Mark Soronowski (sp?), the public relations director at Dorney Park has told several people that he has very exciting news for fans of Dorney Park and that we would know within the upcoming months as to what it could possible be. I have no clue what that means, I would love to say another coaster, but I am a Cedarfair fan, not Six Flags Inc! Also, I think Talon is going to be able to tide me over for a couple years.....but I still wouldn't mind seeing some twisted metallic montrousity rise around that area of the park. Guessing that the dry lake bed next to Steel Force will eventually get some attention, I would say expect in it to connect to the end near lazer and the construction you are talking about. Kinda CedarPointish if you think about it, and we know that they like to do things similar at thier parks. Whatever the case is, I know for a fact that CF officials are very pleased with Dorney's progress (dispite weather problems) and have stated that they will continue to expand the park.

There is a good chance that will be a skycoaster but that's just speculation.
