Interesting that a lot of people were there on April Fools. Anyways, I had also found my way down to Doswell for the day and had my first good look at Hypersonic:XLC. I guess I was pretty upset that it was closed, but I found a way to enjoy myself. Volcano in the front is always good, though a little hard on the face if it is during pelting rain. Also I was in line for FOF when a seatbelt broke and they held up the whole line. I waited for about 20 minutes and I eventually gave up. I went back later and the line was almost coming out of the building. I wasn't prepared to wait in that line mostly because they had only been running one train that day. Grizzly was running quite rough compared to last year. Right after the tunnel it is in desparate need of braking. Anaconda is actually quite stunning in its new shade of bright orange. Though its still rough through the butterfly configuration, eccspeciall during the second part of it. Also, Rebel Yell is fantastic going backwards. And I recomend waiting for the back because at the lift the rest of the train almost pulls you over the hill. Overall, a nice and amusing trip. Let's hope HS:XLC gets running soon. Also on a side note, I did see some land clearing going on behind Rebel Yell. Also some pieces for what looked like a dark green slide. I wouldn't expect for 2002 any more than a waterpark addition.
