I was just wondering if there is any way to walk around your park. I know about the Jonny Watts cheat but I wanna actually be in control and walk where i wanna walk. I didn't find anything about it in the instruction manual but I was hopeing i just missed it.

I think you can select a peep and there is a camera option under them you click on. I'm still learning controls. I can't figure out how to toggle the park to change my views. Anyone know how to do that.

Thanks,
DMC

See, I find the camera controls to be very easy to use and intuitive. I've read tons of complaints and I personally don't understand them. To me, the camera controls are one of the things that are actually right with the game.

My camera settings are:

Control Mode: Advanced
Camera Controls: 1
and I checked the ignore scenery box.

With just 6 keyboard buttons and the mouse, you can easily virtually tour your park.

The W-S buttons go forward and back. The A-D buttons sidestep. The Q-E buttons rotate. The best part is that with those camera settings the Q-E buttons rotate around a point defined by your mouse on the screen. This is genius to me! It gives a world of control options for turning and spinning.

I also hold both mouse buttons and move the mouse to adjust.

It's a great system and with a little practice it makes 'walking' the park realtively simple.

Yeah, I have to agree that the viewer controls are probably the best attribut about the game. I went back and played RCT2 recently and was saddened that I couldn't have the same hot-key options.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
