Invy, thanks for making it quite clear! (Except I don't see the supposed horn anymore ;) )

Superman, first I want to say that I agree with you, so I'm not 'bashing' or anything. But seriously, all of a sudden I feel like I'm back in my cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence classes in college. :)

I get what your saying, Supes.
As an example, for weeks after reading Whitley Striber's series on "visitors", I kept catching images of the "greys" out of the corner of my eyes. Became very unnerving. Anything with a triangular/ oval shape morphed into one of their faces (see cover of one of the books if anyone's unfamiliar) in my peripheral vision. I would have to turn and look at what was causing this "trick of the mind's eye" to assure myself. Finally, a couple of months after I stoppped reading the books, this went away.
I've always wondered if anyone else has read these books in succession and had any similar experiences. I imagine it would depend on how seriously you believed in his writings, though.

There is one by the Texas Giant too.

Horrible lighting, power lines, Walls, and the Gaint being a half mile away makes for a great picture too!

when I look at that photo, I do see the image of a child, true, but I also can tell that the photographer was moving. I don't know the area...is there an interstate or other road that would provide that view? Look at the grass in the foreground...it is all blurry...

Moving or not, I still think the Texas Giant photo looks more like a ghost than the Idora photo. I wouldn't pay money for either pic. :)

Meh, it could (and probably is) fake. It's still cool to look at nonetheless.

Looks more like a cat face to me. Or a plastic jack-o-lantern face I put in my living room window every Halloween.

It looks like a cheap photoshop edit to me.

on a side note.. anyone think there'll be faded views of the ghost of Hercules in pictures for Hydra? You know.. like you're taking a picture of your buddy on the lift, and when you look at the picture later you see the faint outline of the old Herc train going up the lift behind the hydra train? :) *** Edited 12/28/2004 4:52:25 AM UTC by dannerman***
