2 a.m. Question about Kingda Ka

If someone can give me a good answer to this, I'd greatly appreciate it...and I need it in the next 8 hours. Is it possible to see Kingda Ka outside of the park yet? My girlfriend and I are going to the Jackson Outlet Village tomorrow morning/early afternoon and I was wondering whether or not the coaster is/will be visible yet under construction from anywhere outside the park treeline (when you enter the parking lot area)...I was wondering because I'm thinking about bringing my digital camera to get a good shot of it if it is visible on the way there or not. Help me please!

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Yeah, but it was at half it's height two weeks ago...I'm wondering how much further the tower has grown since then...

You might be able to see it from the lake access a mile or so east of the park, but that's it. Even when it's completed I doubt you'll be able to see it from anywhere else outside the park.

Whats a digital camera weigh....2-3 lbs. Why dont you just bring it and tell us.

BTW on another website someone was driving around Jackson looking for places that you could see it. He found some so Im sure you can if you look hard enough

Shop @ www.countypaintball.com "Paintball should be fun, not expensive"

No, but I can smell you. Oh, no. Wait. My cat just went to the litter box.

Regardless, if you do get pix, Jim, make sure to let us know so we can see progress!

Na, I stopped actually using 'litter' into the litter box. Too costly. I just spray it out once a month now.

clint-going way over the line here. My cats are outdoors cats for the most part, and don't actually use a litterbox inside:). *** Edited 12/1/2004 4:30:20 PM UTC by TeknoScorpion***

I was kidding, BTW.

Just for all those that need a winkey or smiley for justification.

2-3 POUNDS? What camera to you use?!? Unless you have one of those "Pro-sumer" level SLRs, they don't weigh much more than a pound...

Not even, I have a Canon EOS Digital Camera, and it's only like 19 ounces.

I went down I195 last friday for work and nope couldn't see Ka over the tree line yet... I am seriously hoping to be able to see it from I195 like I used to do with FreeFall when it first was built it was so neat to be driving to the park and see the rides from I195. But alas tree growth has hindered the view. Not that I don't like the trees.

Watch the tram car please....

But is Moosh a Squeegee or a Bungee? Only the Moosh can tell.

Jim, you have not told us what you could see. I will take a trip down to Prospertown Lake if I know the structure is able to be seen.

One thing that I know will be obvious, Kingda Ka will be more striking with the nearest competition at the park at 230 feet, about half what this will be.

An Old Coaster fart that refuses to grow old, I just wish many of my friends could have as well!
