Best Buy has it for $24.99 (minimum 20/store, no rainchecks), and CompUSA has it for $29.99. Both of these are for Friday and Saturday only.

Let Santa know so that you'll get it for Christmas, and maybe something extra with the money he saved! ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ugh. I hate "Black Friday". Anyone brave enough to run out and waste their time and raise their blood pressure in the quest to save a few bucks, more power to them. I'll be sleeping in.

True, the only way sometimes to go shop is in the morning, the earliest you can to avoid crowds, either that or shop the next few days as crowds die down

Glad I had to work today... gives me an excuse not to go shopping at 5-o-friggin'-clock in the morning with my wife.

She told me of a near riot at Sears over (of all things) $10 gift cards, and many, many arguments inside Sprawl-Mart due to a total lack of crowd control. Thankfully, she heard this second-hand while in an hour-long line elsewhere.

jimmybob: Just the fact that a Wal-Mart needs crowd control is ridiculous.

And it's crazy how people actually read fine print on Black Friday to see if they actually get deals, what time the deals are available, etc. etc. I work at a video game store in the mall, and the stores (except the department stores) weren't allowed to open before 8am. Well my video game store had people beating on the glass "cage" to get in... cuz the advertisement circular said something like, "All deals begin at 7am!" Sheesh.

This was the first year I actually went out early on BF. I went out just to see if I could get some fight footage. Alas, while the lines were hella-long at walmart, the crowd was quite subdued. Maybe it has something to do with Virginia being a 'concealed carry' state...

Anyway, I bought a Gamecube from Circuit City. The whole process took about 10 minutes...;and that includes me browsing.

BTW: to be on topic, I bought the GC with money I *was* going to spend on RCT3, but since it's so buggy....

I lucked out after waiting until Thanksgiving break to pick up my copy. I had a $25 Best Buy gift card I hadn't used yet and went into the store thinking that I would still have to pay 15 more bucks. Much to my surprise I saw it marked down...apparently the sale was working too because there was only 3 copies when I got there.

It's still me, here from the beginning back in 1999. Add 1500+ posts to the number I have in the info section if you care about such things.
