Sounds like good news to me...for Movie World anyway. ;)

Six Flags probably wanted out of their management contract last year when they sold the rest of the Euopean parks. If you read the article the government which owns a large stake in the park wants out also. The park may look nice, but it appartently costs too much and is not bringing in enough people.

LOL Eric, that is *exactly* what I was thinking...

Wondering if they'll sign up with Paramount, Tussaud's, or maybe the new European group that took over the old SF parks...

Either way, good news for WBMW...;)

Warner Brothers would hire Paramount to run one of their parks?

Warner Bros. only own 4% of the park, plus the licensing agreement. As far as the management contract, attendence figures 50% below projections may have lead to the termination of the agreement. If I recall the park is controled by a Spanish firm. *** Edited 11/24/2004 1:46:26 AM UTC by Dutchman***

Indeed. After all, we know northeastern Ohio had horrible weather from 2000-2003, but the weathermen have explained that the 4-year monsoon has indeed come to an end.

Continuing on the SNL theme, zing!
