What CP should do with their frayed coaster cables

Holiday Park, home of Expedition Ge Force has found a new way to milk coaster geeks, erm... I mean selling unique souveniers!

They are selling pieces of "the original" EGF lift cable in an "limited edition" for a whopping 49,90 €!

Wouldn´t this be a good idea for CP to get rid of all the frayed cables they must have lying around somewhere?
They could be creative and offer different sizes and even some with grease stains (for an additional cost). ;)
For people who have everything, including a patch of land on the moon, this is the perfect present.

Hmm, I'm not sure CP would want to bring attention to the fact that its ride breaks down often. We as enthusiasts know that cable breakage is normal wear-n-tear, but an average person may see shredded cable and assume the ride is unsafe.

There are those who would want it for whatever reason. I have no clue.

I have seen people pick up parts of *something* from Dragster around the launching track, right beside the fence......pieces of wheel?

To be fair to Holiday Park, they're also selling smaller pieces of the cable fastened to something which looks like a brushed aluminium ingot embossed with the ride and park name. These retail for around 7 euros. I guess they're meant to be key fobs, but I've turned mine into a pretty unusual fridge magnet. (CP has enough TTD merchandise anyway!!)

Perhaps Holiday Park is in secret financial trouble, which will eventually lead to the sale of E:GF to a park close to my house.

I wouldn't count on that one!

How about a nicely polished link for SROS's original chain?

Or some old S:ROS lap bars? I'm sure there are tons of them lying around somewhere...

Wow. And I thought KBF's Silver Bullet tees in January was sad...

If the cable brake is at one end or the other, and still of useable length, it is shipped out to KBF for use on Xcelerator ;).
