Need a Kennywood expert's opinion...

I'm planning to go to Kennywood on a Saturday before they close this year.
Can't go on a weekday (I have to work) and can't go on a Sunday because I want to be at the park late, when it gets dark (its such a pretty park at night).
So I need to pick a Saturday, but I want some KW expert opinions on when would be the best Saturday to go; from this saturday until they close...

They closed at 10:30 when I was there on Sunday.

A few weeks ago I was there on a Sunday, and they closed at 11. I don't think you have to worry about not being there when it gets dark.

I went last saturday and the park wasn't crowded at all. So any saturday should be good.

so there's no special events or anything coming up that you know of?
is their halloween thing real crazy?

Something to note, August 28 is the last weekend Kennywood will be open for full days - I would imagine this may result in larger crowds. The following week the park opens at 5pm each, but for an entrance fee of only $14 it is a steal. I will be there that week for my annual trip with my nephew.

Since Kennywood has no set closing time, it doesn't really matter what day you go. If Saturday is less crowded than Sunday, then the park will close earlier.

Either way, unless there's a storm or something, the park rarely closes before 10 or 10:30. Plenty of after dark time.
