SFMM Questions
If it is a busy day, ALL of the coasters have long lines except Gold Rusher (Arrow mine train) and Flashback (ouch). Psyclone usually had a non-line last year, but with DV opening right next to it, Psyclone might have a longer average line this summer.
Slow moving lines:
Superman
Ninja
Riddler (due to dummies who don't know how to stand up)
Fast movers:
Goliath
Viper
Batman
Revolution
No vertical construction of Deja Vu or X yet, but Goliath Jr. is almost complete! (Hanibal Lekter voice: "Goody, goody!")

Let me clarify...
Superman:
is only slow because they only let a certain amount of people into the station at a time. Somewhere in the neighborhood to like 50 or so at a time. If they only have one side running, it will take a while for you to get inside. But once inside the line goes pretty quick as its a straight shot. Here's a hint. When you enter the Fortress of No Air Condi...i mean... Solitude stick to the left casue its for the back rows. You wont have that front seat view but the car is theatre seating and the wait wont be as long.
Ninja:
Is slow because it's simply a popular ride. Estimated waits derived from Veteran's Day 2000 with two train op include... from top of stairs with all switchbacks used 30 minutes (doesnt matter which side left or right), from entrance with all switchbacks 2hrs. From "NINJA" sign 2hrs and 15 min. Down hill towards Superman about 3 hrs depending how far down the hill (usually its not this long, but it does happen). The best times to ride are after dark when the line dies down and right after a breakdown or late opening.
Riddler:
Riddler is slow for two reasons. One, the new seat belts and two because its popular. Ive only been on it once (it was a painful experience so i havent repeated it). They have been known to close the line for a few minutes to reroute it behind the rock wall near the Stunt Show entrance. Usually once they do that, thas when they start handing out Boarding passes. If its a full line expect a wait of 2 hrs. from the big "RIDDLER'S REVENGE" question mark/sign.
The one's that move fast are popular, but just seem to move the line really quickly especially...
Viper
With 3 train op and fast operators (minimal stacking). A line down the hill next to the bathrooms across from Flags is about a wait of 1hr. 45 minutes if that. Once you get into the building, the line is really fast. It will split into three. The one on the left is for the front with the one for the back on the right. For a short wait go to the right. It may not seem like its moving a first, but it will. Its simply the fact that theres' less rows it services therefore shorter amount of queue.
Batman seems slow to me but thas just my opinion.
Revolution is quick as the line is just a couple of switchbacks in the station and a looong ramp.
Colossus is another line that goes fast but few people mention it. When 2 sides are in use even with just 2 trains each it moves pretty quick. Dont be intimidated if the line is up the hill next to the Cookery which is seldom is.

Baddboy: Have you EVER seen Colossus running both sides? The last time I saw that was about 15 years ago. Last Saturday the Colossus line was by the Colossus Cookery all day long, and they were running 3 trains, on one side only. That is about par for the course on Colossus.

Superman's outdoor line will usually stretch all the way past the enterance to the Dragon Palace and start going down the hill. THAT is a long wait, espically since thay usually run only one side at a time.
Hints: Most people flock to Goliath first, filling the queue quickly, so just wait till later for Big G.
First thing upon opening, take the Orient Express, (it is to the right of the merry-go-round) up to the top of the hill and hit Ninja and Superman first. Go down the hill and hit Riddler followed by Batman (this should take no more than an hour, I have done this pattern several times)
If Colossus has not backed up yet, then do that. Next double back to Psyclone. All remaining rides are the short lines or the fast movers. (coaster wise, anyway)
Even if the Goliath line is back to the "wooden sign shop" the wait is still only around an hour. The 3 train operation of Goliath keeps the line moving rather quiclky.
Of course, with the opening of Daja Vu and later, X, the flow of people will change quite a bit.

Well...
The last few times I went on Superman there has been no air on inside, but its maybe becasue I go in the fall when temps are kinda high. Maybe they think it will stay cold all day. Im relating this from my experience.
As for Colossus I know recently they havent been using both sides, but I remember them running both sides all the time right before construction of Goliath.

Well, I stand corrected. I thought for sure Colossus never ran both sides. In the last 10 years (no kidding) EVERY time I was at SFMM, Colossus ran only one side, or none at all. That includes busy days in Summer, and not-so busy days in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
I guess they see me comming and shut down one side!!
