I went through a phase when I'd have trouble on planes during turbulence, and dramamine worked fine for that. Thankfully, I seem to have put that behind me. The medical college of Wisconsin suggests that ginger root could help too.

Odd, that thread did not come up when I did a search, and it was fairly recently. I knew I had seen somewhere something about motion sickness, but someone on URC had also given me a suggestion, so I figured it was there.

I do hear good things about dramamine, although keeping your body properly hydrated (water only) can pretty much prevent a lot of potential ailments.
I would of nearly passed out from heat exhaustion from the Hot Springs/Memphis humidity if it wasn't for constantly drinking water all weekend. :-) I am not used to THAT humidity.
