What company do you think will be designing the most coasters. Back ago Arrow was designing alot of coasters. Now B&M, Vekoma, and CCI, are some manufactors that design alot of coasters. So what coaster company do you think will probably be making alot of coasters in the near future?

I would rather not have any BIG company, just a bunch of small companies. Competition sparks creativity, and when companies get "too much of the pie" rides begin looking the same. (Like Arrow of the late 70's and 80's.) Keep the strong enough to survive, but weak enough to force the best products into the parks.

Right on Brad...I like having Intamin, Giovanola and B&M all doing hypers now. It will result in better coasters and more variety. And as much as I like B&M, I wish there was another prominent company in the stand-up, inverted and multielement categories. Not that B&M's rides are starting to show any slacking, but we could have more original stuff if there were someone else to join them.

It seems as though Mack, Setpoint and S&S are next to get into the hypercoaster business. I'd love to see a hyper with a 90 degree drop and a helix banked at 100 degrees.

I think Adams Coaster Co. is the next to break into the woodie market. They built the Twister at Knoebels, and did fine job.

I believe that the S&S Thrustairs are going to catch on pretty fast. I am guessing alot of parks will be adding them in the next few years. They are made to order, and can fit in a small space. I have even heard rumors that they are testing giant loops on them after the first vertical hill. Arrow may be back in the picture with their 4th dimension. It is better to have a bunch of companies to compete with one another. It only makes things better for us the riders as the companies raise the bar to make their coasters stand out from the competition.

Arrow are going to comeback bigger than ever. I can see S&S way up there as well. We will also see a lot more stuff from Morgan and OD Hopkins

Yes...I agree with Brad...more is better.

Hey, does anybody know what Intamin's first coaster was?

i would have to say that we could not survive without intimin they push the limits of design all the time from 300 footers elevator lift systems to lims what will be next for them they are creative and. not boaring & monotinous like our friends at B&M wonder where they got there name

I kinda think Giovanola will be coming out in the next couple years. I have a question though. On Gio's website it says they came up w/ the 4 across trains for coasters, if so why don't their rides use them? I saw pics of their inverted in africa and grant it they didn't show the trains very well they all looked 2 across.

I agrees varity is the spice of life and the more companys there are and that can stay in business the better.
