Just wanted to let everyone know that after seeing some footage again of Goliath on TV last night, I realized that it is VERY appealing to me, MAYBE not as much as Nitro, but it definetly looks awesome. Maybe what made me think of Titan in a not so good way was just the amount of far away, semi blurry pictures that I have been seeing of it, and I had forgot what it looks like finished and running.

If i'm not mistaken, I believe the majority of the problems had to do with the computer and the trains. They had trouble at SFNE getting the trains into the stationwhich was probably responsible for the majority of the down time.

i'm not siding with any1 im just telling my experiance. 2 out of the three times i have been to SFMM S:TE has had both tracks open and running. that is the only LSM coaster i have been on and it seems to work perfectly fine for a intamin coaster that travels at 100 mph every minute.

DWeaver, just wanted to let you know that I saw your point and understood your argument, even if I'm the only one.

I personally haven't had any bad experiences with either B&M or Intamin in the area of delays or whatever. They're both excellent as far as I'm concerned, but I would take B&M over any other manufacturer just because they have never built anything I was disappointed with (except the Hulk -- not their fault) and I don't find MF's layout all that exciting. I want to see more gigacoasters before I judge how good MF really is -- it's easy to be the best when you're the only one around for most people. And speaking of the Hulk, it's a launched coaster by B&M...how is its performance record?

As for Giovanola, I haven't ridden their stuff so I don't have much to say. But the fact that they're very similar to B&M gives me high expectations.

The Hulk is a good ride, but I expected it to be all it is talked up to be. For one, the enclosed launch doesn't do it for me -- give me the open lift hill, thanks. More buildup to the ride. Also, the layout just wasn't as good as other B&M's IMO. I wasn't as thrilled on it as I have been on many other coasters.

I liked the ride, but the reason I say "not their fault" is because IMO the ride would be much better w/out a launch. I know that's one of its key features and it's a unique idea with the 0-g roll at the top and all, but I would have enjoyed it more if it had a traditional lift hill.
