The two S&S woodies for 2004...

...it just dawned on me this morning that both the Clementon and Timber Falls woodies are named for different forms on onrushing water: Tsunami [liquid form] and Avalanche [frozen form].

Coincidence? Discuss... ;)

I just noticed that Six Flags has 8 coasters named Superman, and 12 named Batman...coincidence??

My point is that it is an odd coincidence that parks 2,000 miles apart from each other would name their wooden coasters for devastating forms of onrushing water [thanks, Mill!].

An unfrozen avalanche is a tsunami! A frozen Tsunami is an avalanche! Doesn't that just warp your mind?!? LOL!

Speaking of mind-warping coaster name coincidences, there are two coasters named after storms in Pigeon Forge, TN...both in the same park! Egad! :)

Well, how about timberhawk and falken, 1000s of miles away from each other, and both named after birds, and both have first drops to the right, and both are over 2000ft long. Coincidence or what?!? ;)

A little bit of a stretch I suppose.

Jeez, mOOSH, I'm just gonna call it The coaster formerly known as Tsunami, but changed to the coaster named Sunami, but now back to Tsunami again, how's that? Perhaps the Purple one himself has something to do with the name change, change back to origional name thing?;)
