Gurnee Il was on dateline for massive flooding today, i overheard it and thought Oh my god don't get to sfgam.

Yeah, because God knows people flooded out of their homes isn't tragic enough.

Does anyone stop to think anymore?

The good news on that Jeff is only 8 families had to evacuate their houses in the flood plain. Everyone else prepared for the worst and sandbagged around their residences.

No-one wanted a repeat of the 1986 flooding.

hey den, that has to be one of the funniest things ive ever heard, the pure sarcasm and 0% truth of "you have to hold your breath on some of the rides"

I'm actually planning my 1st trip up there and already had my days requested to take off.

I'm coming up from Louisville, Ky, I hope the water starts to go down by the time I'm up there on the 6th of June. If I-94 is flooded, then I have no clue on how I would get there...

The floodwaters are already receding. But, frankly, I don't think a Cajun can be that Ragin' if it isn't in a swamp.

If I-94 is flooded in the Gurnee area, SFGAm would be flooded too.

if I-94 or sfgam floods it would be a flood of biblical porportions. like in theat new movie the day after tomorrow

Good thing the floods did not reach the park. Wooden coasters do not react well to floods.

Is I-94 the only route to the park comming from the south?
