Are there any Cedar Fair parks that have the credit card style passes like every other amusement park in the world? I was just curious because I think CP is changing over to them this year.
That's good news. Last year the bar code on my pass would not swipe, It worked like twice. Wasted a good 30 seconds of my park time waiting for them to write my entry in their log :(.
Hey, if I have a knott's pass, is it good at other cedar fair parks?
My first CF pass was from KBF in 1998, and it was a credit card-type pass (quite fetching, actually, with a western scene on the front). I've had Dorney and CP passes since then, of the flimsy kind; the swipe cards do make more sense, IMHO.

I had that same problem with my employee ID (same card system) last year...I think the bar code readers are just getting too old...

Cedar Point is just NOW changing over to them? WOF has had them for years. IN FACT, they swipe general admission tickets thro' a similiar device to deactivate the magnetic strip in them, insuring that they will only be used once.

Yes! Just like Six Flags, one pass gets you into all of their parks. I went to CP with my Knott's pass last summer.
