The Grand National was one of my favorite rides when I was at BPB. Sort of like Kennywood's Jack Rabbit and Racer had a love child. A moebius racer with a killer camel back double dip. Good times. It'd be a shame to lose such a unique ride.
Hi
Visited there last year and had a good time despite the drizzle and the HIGH winds.
REALLY enjoyed Avalanche which is unlike anything I have ever ridden. You go up via a chain, but when you get to the top you go down on a half pipe on WHEELS. VERY cool.
Unfortunately, it was so windy, The Big One was closed so I will have to go back someday.

Don't worry about the station being restored to its former art deco status - the station that burned down was actually only built a few years ago to Emberton's original plans, replacing the station that existed for many years before then. I'm pretty sure they'll get those good old plans out again... :-)
